Ghostly Happenings in Downtown Denver

The days leading up to Halloween in Denver are filled with plenty of screamingly fun adventures and activities that both locals and travelers alike will enjoy.  From bone-chilling haunts, to monster-ous meals, to zany-zombies, The Mile High City is a playground for those looking for a ghoulish way to celebrate the season.

Brown Palace Haunted Tours: Join us this month as we wander our grand halls for a special haunted tour. Our frighteningly fabulous historian will lead wide-eyed guests on a tour through some of The Brown’s more hair-raising hauntings, telling tales of mysterious sightings and disturbances from our past.  Tours are offered every Wednesday and Saturday at 3 p.m., with additional public tours available on October 12, 19, and 26 at 5pm. Denver Haunted Houses: Want to scare yourself silly?  The Denver area features many of the creepiest haunted house attractions in the Nation.  Just don’t turn that corner too fast, you never know what’s lurking on the other side….

The Zombie Crawl: When you tooled around 16th Street Mall, did you find thousands of zombies ready to slurp your brains?  Setting the Guinness Book of World Records for most zombies gathered in one place, this annual parade of the undead took place this past Saturday.

Family Friendly Corn Maze: Got kiddos, or just not the type that elects to be scared silly?  Pay a visit to the Anderson Farm Festival.  As Colorado’s Longest-Running Corn Maze, take the family on a hayride to the pumpkin patch, see the animals at the petting zoo, and get lost in the fields of corn.
